Each year between June and September Concert takes advantage of the good weather and organizes outdoor tenant appreciation events for its residential and commercial tenants across BC (events for Ontario-based buildings will be held later this year).
This year residents and tenants were invited to enjoy good food with lunch or snacks provided by a range of vendors including Vera’s Burgers, Diced, Cold Comfort and the Praguery.
“It was such a beautiful day with lovely sunshine and delicious ice cream,” said Kaylee Chun, Resident Services Agent at Collingwood Village. “Residents enjoyed themselves, and kids were happy with face painting and balloon twisting. This was a great opportunity to get our tenants together, keep them happy and make them feel special!”
In addition to being great for community building, the events also serve as an opportunity to give back to a variety of good causes as each building selected an organization to fundraise for. Many of the buildings selected the BC and Alberta Guide Dogs – which meant that some furry friends stopped by to visit with the residents, adding to the sweetness of the days.
“Communities are so much more than buildings,” says Kerri Jackson, Concert’s Senior Vice President, Property Management. “It’s important to us to take time to foster connections within our communities, come together to support good causes, and most of all, show our residents and tenants how much we value them.”
