tenant and resident appreciation

Celebrating community with our residents and tenants

At Concert Properties, our focus isn’t just on the buildings we create, but on the communities we build by connecting the people who live and work within them. This summer, our Property Management team brought this vision to life by hosting our annual resident and tenant appreciation events across our residential rental and commercial properties.

At Collingwood Village, Resident Services Agent Kaylee Chun shared her thoughts on the event held there: “We had an incredible turnout this year. Our residents enjoyed delicious food, fantastic music and even a temporary tattoo station for the young and the young at heart.” The event concluded with a lucky draw, featuring prizes generously donated by our contractors. “It was beautiful to see everyone come together, enjoy the festivities and spend quality time with neighbours,” Kaylee added.

Meanwhile, at Whitgift Gardens, the summer BBQ welcomed over 150 residents who enjoyed their meals on a nice sunny day. The team ensured everyone was comfortable, including seniors who received meals delivered to their suites. “It was nice to see so many familiar faces and many of the children now in their teens,” noted Joanna Leong,  Senior Property Management Assistant, who organized the event.
At Village Gate West (VGW) in Ontario, the courtyard was filled with friendly faces, connecting neighbours old and new. “It was great to see such a strong turnout, with residents coming together to enjoy the day,” said Daniel Andonov, Community Manager.

Beyond the fun and camaraderie, our commercial property events also served a charitable purpose. Concert Properties proudly supports both Pacific Assistance Dogs and BC and Alberta Guide Dogs—two remarkable organizations dedicated to meeting the growing demand for professionally trained guide dogs. At our tenant event held at our Vancouver head office, 1190 Hornby Street, Concert Properties employees joined in the festivities, with BC and Alberta Guide Dogs on site to help raise awareness and funds for the cause.

Across seven of our commercial sites, $2,169 was raised for BC and Alberta Guide Dogs and $430 for Pacific Assistance Dogs through events at Willowbrook Business Park, Kingsland and 600 Lougheed.
“We’re always looking for ways to make our residents and tenants feel valued,” says Kerri Jackson, Senior Vice President, Property Management. “These appreciation events are a testament to our commitment to cultivating strong, connected communities.”

As always, these events wouldn’t be possible without the hard work and dedication of our Property Management team, who continue to make our vision of building resilient, inclusive and sustainable communities a reality. We look forward to hosting many more events in the years to come, bringing our communities even closer together.
