Concert a Finalist in 2009 CARE Awards
Concert has been named a finalist in the 2009 Construction Achievements and Renovations of Excellence (CARE) Awards of Vancouver Island in seven categories.
Vancouver, BC, Canada – Concert Real Estate Corporation is pleased to announce that it has been named a finalist in the 2009 Construction Achievements and Renovations of Excellence (CARE) Awards of Vancouver Island in seven categories.
Concert received the first six CARE nominations for Chelsea: Best Residential Interior under 2,000 square feet, Best Condominium/Mixed-Use Development, Best Sales Centre or Showroom, Best Project Website, Best Overall Marketing Campaign and CARE Awards Project of the Year – Development. Concert was also nominated for the Best Customer Service award.
“We are very proud to have been nominated by the Canadian Home Builders’ Association in Victoria,” says David Podmore, Concert’s Chairman & CEO. “It’s a great honour to be a finalist representing the very best in professional residential construction.”
A luxury concrete six-storey lowrise, Chelsea is situated in a tranquil and picturesque neighbourhood rich in history and character. Concert’s third residential development in Victoria is ideally located in the charming, tree-lined community of Fairfield, just blocks from the energy and convenience of downtown Victoria.
“From the drawing board to the finished product, our focus is on quality – the best in design, workmanship and materials, all of which ensure quality and satisfaction for our customers,” adds Podmore.
At just 66 homes, this intimate address provides residents with all the comforts of an exquisitely-built, modern home. In addition to architecture that blends well with the community, heritage elements of the original St. Mary’s Hospital site have been preserved and incorporated.
“These projects are found only on Vancouver Island, however their influence extends well beyond the coast,” says Casey Edge, Executive Officer, Canadian Home Builders’ Association – Victoria. “The winners often go on to win provincial and national awards.”
The Canadian Home Builders’ Associations (CHBA) of Victoria created the CARE Awards in 1991 to recognize the west coast’s creative design and craftsmanship, and celebrate excellence in the industry.
The CARE Awards finalists are selected by a panel of industry professionals using criteria such as architectural character, quality workmanship, use of space, energy efficiency and sustainability. The Gold CARE winners will be announced at the Fairmont Empress Hotel in Victoria on October 2, 2009.
