Concert Properties' senior leadership team is made up of real estate professionals with diverse backgrounds and areas of expertise.

Christine Bergeron Headshot
Christine Bergeron, President & CEO

Christine joined Concert Properties in September 2023 as President & CEO. She is a highly respected, strategic and values-based leader, whose personable style aligns with the company’s people-first culture.

She brings more than 25 years’ experience building and leading financial firms where she guided their strategic development while fostering prudent risk management and thoughtful stakeholder relations.

Christine has led wealth management, business banking and commercial real estate portfolios, has financed innovative companies as a venture capitalist and has experience in asset management. She is also a proven entrepreneur who has both created and helped build successful financial firms and this entrepreneurial perspective has continued to inform her solutions-oriented approach as a leader.

She was previously the President & CEO of Vancity, Canada’s largest credit union.

In 2022, Christine was named Corporate Leader winner at the BC Business Women of the Year Awards, and also received the Business in Vancouver Influential Woman in Business Award. Current Board work includes UBC’s Sauder School of Business Faculty Advisory Board, Chair of InBC Investment Corporation and Board member with Aviso Wealth.

John Dooling Headshot
John Dooling, CPA, CA, Chief Financial Officer

John joined Concert Properties in 2014, and since 2020 has served as CFO for Concert Properties and Concert Infrastructure Fund where he oversees $9B of assets. He is responsible for financial reporting, financing, accounting and internal controls, tax compliance, auditing, risk management and insurance, treasury, budgeting and strategic planning as well as non-financial responsibilities such as IT, Property Management and transformational change projects.

Over his 25-year career, John has gained experience leading teams of diverse professionals as well as overseeing large organization’s financial activities. Prior to joining Concert Properties, he held senior finance positions in diverse industries. 

John played a key role in the success of the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Games through his development and execution of the Vancouver Olympic Budget. He has continued to support the Olympic sector as CFO for the 2014 Canadian Special Olympics, advisor for Sochi 2014, London 2012 and numerous Olympic bids as well as consulting with the International Olympic Committee. John is also a current board member of the Games Operating Trust associated with the 2010 games.

Arif Rahemtulla Headshot
Arif Rahemtulla, Chief Construction Officer

Arif joined Concert Properties in 1997 and has led Concert’s construction group since 2001. He oversees strategic planning and is responsible for construction operations across Canada including design, procurement, construction and customer service.

Arif has over 40 years of experience in civil engineering, construction and project management with a special emphasis on residential highrise projects. He has managed projects locally and overseas in various capacities including positions with consulting engineers and general contractors. Arif is a Professional Engineer, a Chartered Engineer and a Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers.

Colleen Anderson, Chief Marketing Officer 

Since joining Concert Properties in 1997, Colleen has been instrumental in executing successful sales programs for Concert Properties' most notable condominium developments in Victoria, Metro Vancouver and Toronto.

After 20 years with Concert Properties and having transitioned from project sales to project positioning and strategic planning, Colleen was promoted to Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing in 2015, and to her current role in 2023. Today Colleen oversees sales, marketing and communications efforts across the company’s diverse operations and serves as the Managing Broker for Concert Realty Services Ltd.

Craig Watters, Chief Development Officer

Craig joined Concert Properties in 2010 as Vice President, Development and was promoted to Senior Vice President, Development in 2017 and to his current role in 2023.

Craig oversees all development activities for Concert Properties across the country. With over 25 years of experience in the real estate development industry, Craig previously held senior leadership positions where he was responsible for large-scale mixed-use community development, including acquisition and strategic planning activities across Canada and the United States, as well as the provision of real estate advisory services internationally.

Aran Clarke Headshot
Aran Clarke, Senior Vice President, People Experience

Aran has been with Concert Properties for almost four years. She has led the implementation of a new HRIS system, the development of Concert’s first DEI strategy and most recently supported the build of the change management and business analysis function within the digital transformation project team.

She holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a Post Diploma in Human Resources. Aran has had the great fortune to work with several different organizations and industries over the past 20 years ranging from aviation to banking and now real estate, leading people and talent programs, change management and transformation projects and initiatives.

Kerri Jackson, Senior Vice President, Property Management

Bringing more than 15 years of residential property management experience, Kerri Jackson joined Concert Properties as its Senior Vice President, Property Management in July 2020.

Having managed portfolios across Canada ranging in size from 3,500 to 10,000 suites, she has a proven record of providing strategic direction and operations leadership to diverse property management teams across the country. In her previous role, Kerri was an integral member of the team responsible for creating a digital residential platform in the formation of QuadReal Property Group. Kerri holds a Master of Business Administration from the Odette School of Business at the University of Windsor. She is pursuing a Certified Property Manager designation through the Real Estate Institute of Canada and currently serves as Director on the Board for LandlordBC.

Adena Waffle Headshot
Adena Waffle, Senior Vice President, Tapestry

With more than two decades of experience in seniors living in all aspects of operations, including resident experience, sales, marketing, wellness, and community engagement and stakeholder management, Adena was appointed Interim Senior Vice President in May 2022, and her current role in January 2023.

Adena joined Concert Properties in 2008 as Manager, Seniors Housing, after overseeing sales, marketing and community operations for several North American operators. As Vice President, Tapestry, Adena played a key role in establishing Tapestry and its four communities for active aging adults as industry leaders, recognized for an award-winning focus on wellness and a distinctive service-oriented brand inspired by engaged employees. Having fulfilled multiple terms as President of the Board, Adena is completing a five year term as a Director on the Board of the BC Senior Living Association. A proud graduate of the University of Saskatchewan, Adena is broadly acknowledged as a sector leader and industry expert.

Kelly Wilson Headshot
Kelly Wilson, Senior Vice President, Development

Since joining Concert Properties in 2004 as Development Manager, Kelly has been the key development lead for the company's purpose-built rental and condominium communities in Ontario. In 2011 he was promoted to Vice President, Development and in 2017 he assumed operations management responsibilities of the Toronto office. In 2023, Kelly was named Senior Vice President, Development.

Kelly has 33 years of experience as an effective leader and manager of people and projects. He worked at the University of Guelph for 11 years in various leadership positions including General Manager of a business consulting start-up and five years as the Assistant Director of Open Learning. Before joining Concert Properties, Kelly spent four years working for a Toronto condominium developer in various management roles including development, marketing, operations, and construction. Kelly proudly serves on the Board of Directors of a 53-bed shelter for homeless youth called Youth Without Shelter.

Danny Di Fazio Headshot
Danny Di Fazio, Senior Vice President, Construction - East

Danny joined Concert Properties in 2010 and has over 25 years of experience in the construction industry. Danny leads the construction group in Ontario. He oversees and is responsible for construction operations, from inception to completion.

He began his career in the field and took on greater responsibilities in project management as he worked with several major developers. He specializes in highrise residential projects having been involved in building 24 highrise projects throughout his career. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering Degree (Civil Engineering) and is a Professional Engineer.

Adrian Kozak Headshot
Adrian Kozak, Senior Vice President, Investments

Joining Concert Properties in 2005, Adrian has been a key member of the Investments team in the expansion and management of the income properties portfolio and residential development site acquisitions in Ontario.

With over 24 years of experience in real estate advisory and management, Adrian brings a successful track record of leading a team across the acquisition, disposition, asset management, leasing and term financing activities at Concert Properties. Following four years as Vice President, Investments overseeing the operational activities of the team in Ontario, Adrian was promoted to his current role in 2023.

Joe Wong, Senior Vice President, Information Systems and Technology

Joe joined Concert Properties in 2021 as Vice President, Information Systems and Technology and was appointed to his current role in January 2024. He has been instrumental in transforming the information technology department into a strategic business partner for the company. Building on this success, Joe has also taken on the co-chair role for the enterprise digital transformation program.

With a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Simon Fraser University and executive leadership training from the Harvard Business School, Joe brings over 25 years of experience in technology and transformational leadership roles. Before joining Concert Properties, he served as Vice President IT at Coast Capital Savings, where he played a crucial role in transforming the IT division, implementing innovative and award-winning digital banking and cybersecurity platforms.

Derron Bain, Chief Executive Officer, Concert Infrastructure Fund

Having joined Concert Infrastructure at its inception in 2010, Derron leads the strategy, origination, development, investment, financing and asset management activities of the Concert Infrastructure Fund, reporting to its Board of Directors. He holds directorships in each of Concert Infrastructure’s projects.

Over a twenty-year period, Derron has an extensive track record of successfully leading the planning, financing, delivery and management of complex public private partnership infrastructure projects and multi-disciplinary teams on behalf of both government and private sector entities. With this experience he brings a unique perspective and understanding of the Canadian infrastructure market as well as the intersection between government and private sector business. A graduate of the Royal Military College of Canada and Dalhousie University, prior to his career in infrastructure, Derron was a maritime warfare officer in the Royal Canadian Navy.

David Podmore, OBC, Co-Founder, Chair

Recognized as an icon in the Canadian real estate industry, David Podmore, OBC brings more than four decades of experience to Concert Properties, the company he co-founded in 1989. Today, David is Chair of Concert Properties and Concert Infrastructure.

As a result of his leadership and vision, Concert Properties has grown into one of Canada’s most reputable developers.

He is currently Chair of INSPIRE, the largest ever British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) fundraising campaign, is a BC Men’s Health Foundation Board member and sits on the Business Council of British Columbia’s Executive Committee. He previously served as President of the Greater Vancouver Home Builders Association and Chair of the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation, among other Board roles.

David received the first Award of Excellence granted by the Real Estate Institute of BC, the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal and in 2014 was invested to the Order of British Columbia.
