Southeast False Creek development goes to Public Hearing

Concert has been planning a master-planned waterfront community of five residential buildings at Quebec & 1st Avenue in Vancouver. The buildings are anticipated to range in height from 12 to 18 storeys, and contain a cumulative 740 homes, including 140 non-market rental apartments that will be owned by the City. The community will feature semi-public gardens, courtyards and a playground as well as a public plaza and three acres of public park space.

Following the rezoning application that was submitted last summer, a Public Hearing has now been schedule for June 3 at 6:00pm in the City of Vancouver’s Council Chambers. Public Hearings provide an opportunity for Council to hear from those who have an interest in a given property. Following the Public Hearing, Council will make a decision on Concert’s application.
