The Creek, Concert’s master-planned community in Vancouver’s vibrant Southeast False Creek neighbourhood, began to take shape with the completion of the concrete formwork and glazing installation of the 17-storey Voda, the first of four boutique condominium buildings.
To celebrate the monumental milestone Bosa Construction hosted a “topping-off” barbeque for which Concert was pleased to provide all attendees with cozy, Concert-branded pullovers. David Podmore, Concert Chairman and CEO and Brian McCauley, Concert President and COO were on site to congratulate the team.
“This milestone brings us one step closer to completion of this master-planned community which will enrich this evolving neighbourhood,” says McCauley. “We’re excited to celebrate the hard work of our trades and contractors, the Bosa Construction team and our own outstanding development and construction teams.”
The second phase of The Creek, Navío, is also under construction, with concrete formwork now underway on the fourth floor. Currently selling, Navío has only 15 spacious parkside waterfront homes still available. Spanning six-acres on the Southeast False Creek Seawall, The Creek will also include an expansive 2.7-acre park and an affordable housing building which Concert is developing on behalf of the City of Vancouver.
