Vancouver, BC, Canada – Concert is pleased to announce that it has been named a Silver Finalist in the 2007 CARE (Construction Achievements and Renovations of Excellence) Awards of Vancouver Island. Concert is a finalist in five categories: Best Condominium/Mixed-Use Development, Best Sales Centre, Best Overall Marketing Campaign, Best Website and Best Customer Service.
“We are very proud to have been nominated by the Canadian Home Builders’ Association in Victoria,” said David Podmore, President & CEO, Concert Properties Ltd. “It is an honour to be a Silver Finalist in five categories, especially given the high quality of all the entries.”
Concert received the first four CARE nominations for Belvedere – a 16-storey, mixed-use concrete highrise located in downtown Victoria with 77 suites and ground level retail space. Concert was also nominated for the Best Customer Service award.
With each endeavour, Concert is focused on people, innovative design, superior standards of construction, customer service and community values. “From the moment a potential purchaser walks through our door to long after they’ve settled into their new home, our entire team of professionals epitomizes our dedication to delivering only the best,” adds Podmore.
Belvedere, Concert’s second residential development in Victoria, appeals to empty nesters and is ideally located within walking distance to the Inner Harbour, shopping, restaurants and entertainment. The visually striking marketing campaign with its entertaining yet simple tone resulted in all 77 Belvedere suites being sold out within months of commencing sales.
“The CARE Awards represent the importance of building homes that are innovative and accommodate changing lifestyles, while minimizing the impact on the environment,” says Casey Edge, Executive Officer, CHBA-Victoria.
The CARE Awards Silver Finalists are selected by a panel of industry professionals using criteria such as architectural character, quality workmanship, use of space and energy efficiency. The Gold CARE Award winners will be announced on October 13 at the Victoria Conference Centre.
