Vancouver, BC, Canada – David Podmore, President & CEO, Concert Properties is pleased to announce the promotion of Brian McCauley to Executive Vice President.
In Brian’s new role he will oversee the company’s national residential development activities and assume responsibility for a number of corporate administrative and strategic responsibilities.
Brian has extensive experience in the real estate industry including managing the majority of Concert’s large scale master-planned community developments. In 2001, Brian was selected to establish Concert’s presence in Ontario. The initial objective was a commitment, with our partners, to invest more than $300 million to develop and operate approximately 2,000 suites of new assured rental housing in the Greater Toronto area.
Under Brian’s guidance this commitment has grown substantially and has been expanded to include market rental housing and the development of seniors living communities. In addition to these initiatives, Brian has been responsible for Concert’s expansion into the Ontario multi-family condominium housing market and has overseen the growth of the company’s commercial and industrial portfolio in the province.
“With the enormous potential for corporate expansion and the growing demand for highly experienced, senior real estate professionals, Concert is pleased to be able to draw on talent of Brian’s calibre from within the company,” said David Podmore, Concert’s President & CEO. “Brian will continue to be a great asset to our company. This promotion is recognition of his continued contribution to the company over the past 14 years.”
