Vancouver, BC, Canada – Concert Properties today announced that effective immediately, Concert co-founder Jack Poole has retired as Board Chair, marking the 20th anniversary of the founding of the company with David Podmore. Poole will continue as mentor and advisor to Concert in his new role as Chair Emeritus. Podmore, Concert’s President and Chief Executive Officer will assume the role of Board Chair and CEO. Dan Jarvis, who joined the company this past April, will act as Vice Chair and Chief Financial Officer while Brian McCauley has been promoted to the position of President.
"Jack’s contributions to Concert cannot be overstated. As co-founder, mentor and Chairman of Concert’s Board of Directors, Jack has guided and supported the company’s growth for twenty years. The entire Board of Directors joins me in thanking Jack for his many years of service,” said Podmore. “He leaves behind the legacy of an organization much emulated and often courted as a preferred developer or partner by major Canadian pension funds, investors, other developers, communities and government.”
Jack Poole expresses great confidence about the company’s future under David Podmore’s stewardship.

The newest addition to Concert’s executive team, Dan Jarvis has been appointed Concert’s Vice Chair and Chief Financial Officer.
