Concert Properties' senior leadership team is made up of real estate professionals with diverse backgrounds and areas of expertise.
Christine Bergeron, President & CEO (currently on leave)
Christine joined Concert Properties in September 2023 as President & CEO. She is a highly respected, strategic and values-based leader, whose personable style aligns with the company’s people-first culture.
She brings more than 25 years’ experience building and leading financial firms where she guided their strategic development while fostering prudent risk management and thoughtful stakeholder relations.
Christine has led wealth management, business banking and commercial real estate portfolios, has financed innovative companies as a venture capitalist and has experience in asset management. She is also a proven entrepreneur who has both created and helped build successful financial firms and this entrepreneurial perspective has continued to inform her solutions-oriented approach as a leader.
She was previously the President & CEO of Vancity, Canada’s largest credit union.
In 2022, Christine was named Corporate Leader winner at the BC Business Women of the Year Awards, and also received the Business in Vancouver Influential Woman in Business Award. Current Board work includes UBC’s Sauder School of Business Faculty Advisory Board, UDI Board of Directors, Chair of InBC Investment Corporation and Board member with Aviso Wealth.
John Dooling, CPA, CA, Interim Chief Executive Officer
John joined Concert Properties in 2014 and currently serves as Interim CEO. He is responsible for the overall vision, strategy and operational success of the organization. John leads the organization in navigating the complexities of the real estate market while ensuring growth, profitability and long-term sustainability.
Prior to assuming his role as Interim CEO, John served as Concert Properties Chief Financial Officer since 2020 for Concert Properties and Concert Infrastructure Fund. Over his 25-year career, John has gained experience leading teams of diverse professionals as well as overseeing large organization’s financial activities. Prior to joining Concert Properties, he held senior finance positions in diverse industries.
John played a key role in the success of the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Games through his development and execution of the Vancouver Olympic Budget. He has continued to support the Olympic sector as CFO for the 2014 Canadian Special Olympics, advisor for Sochi 2014, London 2012 and numerous Olympic bids as well as consulting with the International Olympic Committee. John is also a current board member of the Games Operating Trust associated with the 2010 games.
Matthew Czech, CPA, Interim Chief Financial Officer
Matthew joined Concert Properties in 2016 and currently serves as Interim CFO. He is responsible for Concert Properties and Concert Infrastructure Fund where he oversees $9B of assets. He oversees comprehensive financial operations, ensuring effective financial reporting, strategic planning and risk management while maintaining robust internal controls and compliance standards.
Prior to being named our Interim CFO he previously served as Concert Properties’ Vice President, Finance. He’s led significant improvements in reporting, treasury and financial planning and analysis in his time with the company.
A CPA by trade, Matt has over 15 years of real estate industry experience through public accounting and industry positions. Specifically, he worked in a public practice focused on auditing and tax for private companies, largely real estate entities and not-for-profits. He has also held a senior accounting role in a private company focused on land development among other lines of business.
Arif Rahemtulla, Chief Construction Officer
Arif joined Concert Properties in 1997 and has led the company’s construction team since 2001. Today he oversees the company’s design, procurement and construction operations across Canada. Over the years Arif has been instrumental to the growth of the company and expansion of the construction program both in scale and geography.
He has been responsible for the development and implementation of management practices and procedures for each phase of the project life cycle aimed at increasing collaboration with industry partners, reducing risk, streamlining execution and improving both financial outcomes and quality. During his 40-year career, he has worked on civil engineering and highrise projects both locally and overseas including positions with consulting engineers and general contractors. He has also served on community projects including the revitalization of BC Place for the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Games.
Arif holds a Master of Applied Science in Construction Management from UBC. He is a Professional Engineer, a Chartered Engineer, Member of Institution of Civil Engineers and a Life Member of the American Society of Civil Engineers.
Colleen Anderson, Chief Marketing Officer
Colleen joined Concert Properties in 1997 and after holding increasingly senior roles, she assumed leadership of sales, marketing and communications in 2015. As Managing Broker for Concert Realty Services Ltd. she is responsible for condominium sales revenue from product design and development to branding and positioning as well as sales strategy. Serving as the brand steward, the corporate communications and marketing initiatives that Colleen has led across the company’s diverse operations has cemented Concert Properties’ reputation as one of the most trusted names in Canadian real estate.
Colleen has been instrumental in the successful sales programs for 43 of Concert Properties' condominium developments across Metro Vancouver, Victoria and Toronto representing billions in revenue. She continues to play a pivotal role in shaping the 9,000 homes in the company’s development pipeline that will form the communities of tomorrow.
Having started her real estate career in the early 90’s, at the very inception of multi-family presale marketing in Vancouver, she gained experience building and growing sales teams while representing top developers.
Craig Watters, Chief Development Officer
Craig joined Concert Properties in 2010 and today plays a pivotal role overseeing the company’s development activities across British Columbia and Ontario from acquisition to completion. He is responsible for strategic leadership and planning, operational and financial oversight, sustainability and innovation as well as risk management across the company’s development pipeline.
With over 30 years of real estate experience, Craig has held senior executive positions and led teams in the creation of large-scale, mixed-use communities, delivering thousands of homes across Canada and the United States. He has also guided numerous organizational and partnership structuring initiatives and led the creation of a real estate advisory group that provided development services internationally. His expertise encompasses all core areas of real estate including development, asset management, acquisitions, sales and marketing, leasing, finance and operations.
Craig is also committed to community service. His volunteer work has included serving on the boards of several organizations, establishing a charitable foundation, co-chairing the development of a new elementary school and coaching youth sports teams.
Lindsay Brand, Chief Investment Officer
Lindsay joined Concert Properties in 2024 as Chief Investment Officer. She is responsible for providing strategic leadership and oversight for Concert Properties’ real estate income portfolio across Canada including acquisitions, dispositions, asset and fund management, leasing and property management. Lindsay also oversees Concert Income Properties, an open-ended, limited partnership Canadian fund which owns many of these assets.
She brings a diverse perspective and depth of investment and development experience across a variety of asset classes within a high-growth environment. Prior to joining Concert Properties, Lindsay served as Chief Investment Officer at a Canadian-based real estate company where she participated in the strategic growth of five public companies. Previously, Lindsay financed development deals at a major Canadian financial institution.
She Lindsay holds a MSc in Real Estate Development from Columbia University as well as a HBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business at Western University. She serves on the Board of Trustees for two public companies and the Jewish Foundation of Greater Toronto as well as contributes to Neuchatel Junior College's Finance Committee.
Aran Clarke, Interim Chief Administration Officer
Aran joined Concert Properties in 2018 and has been leading the People Experience team ever since. As Vice President, People Experience she was responsible for all aspects of the employee experience including recruiting and training as well as change management and various transformation projects and initiatives. In 2024 she was named our Interim Chief Administration Officer, which maintained her existing responsibilities while adding oversight of the company’s IST team and ESG efforts.
In her time with Concert Properties, she has focused the company’s people experience efforts on three key areas: DEI (diversity, equity and inclusion), health and wellbeing as well as learning and development. Notably, she developed the company’s first DEI strategy which included a multi-faceted employee education program as well as regular surveys to assess our efforts.
Over the past 20 years Aran has worked with several organizations and industries ranging from aviation to banking and now real estate. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Royal Roads and a Post Diploma in Human Resources from BCIT.
Kerri Jackson, Senior Vice President, Property Management
Kerri joined Concert Properties as Senior Vice President, Property Management in 2020. She is responsible for a mixed portfolio that spans 5,000 rental homes and 13 million square feet of commercial across British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario and Quebec.
Leading the property management department, Kerri provides strategic direction and operations leadership to the over 100 employees who manage the company’s diverse residential and commercial portfolio.
Bringing more than 20 years of residential property management experience, Kerri has a proven record of providing strategic direction and operations leadership to property management teams across the country. Previously, Kerri was a senior member of the property management team at a global real estate company where she managed a portfolio of 10,000 suites. Kerri holds a Master of Business Administration from the Odette School of Business at the University of Windsor, and currently serves as a Director on the Board of LandlordBC.
Adena Waffle, Senior Vice President, Tapestry
Adena joined Concert Properties in 2008 and after holding increasingly senior roles over the years with the company’s Tapestry brand of seniors’ communities, she was named Senior Vice President, Tapestry in 2022. She is responsible for the operations of three communities in British Columbia.
In her time at Concert Properties, she has been instrumental in building the Tapestry brand. Adena has established Tapestry as an industry leader and made the brand synonymous with the highest standards with a focus on wellness service.
She brings more than two decades of experience in seniors living across all aspects of operations, including resident experience, sales, marketing, wellness, community engagement and stakeholder management for several North American operators.
Adena is broadly acknowledged as a sector leader and industry expert and is active within the BC Senior Living Association. She is currently serving a five-year term on their Board of Directors and has fulfilled multiple terms as President. Adena is a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan.
Kelly Wilson, Senior Vice President, Development
Since joining Concert Properties in 2004, Kelly has served as the key spokesperson and development lead for most of the company's purpose-built rental and condominium communities in Ontario. He also oversees the general management of the Toronto Office and provides strategic direction and leadership to our development, acquisitions and office services teams.
Before joining the company, he worked for a Toronto real estate developer in various management roles including multi-residential design development, entitlements, marketing, operations, customer care and construction. His 35-years of experience as an effective leader and project manager goes beyond real estate. Early in his career he co-founded a management consulting business at a major Canadian university, where he was promoted to several senior leadership positions and served as Alumni Senator.
Kelly is a dedicated volunteer for several charitable organizations, and he proudly serves on the Board of Directors for a homeless youth shelter called Youth Without Shelter.
Danny Di Fazio, Senior Vice President, Construction - East
Danny joined Concert Properties in 2010 and today leads the Ontario construction team. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing all construction operations from inception to completion – everything from working drawings and tendering, to construction and ultimately handover and customer service. He ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the high standards of quality for which Concert Properties is synonymous.
He began his career in the field, gradually advancing to greater responsibilities in project management with several major developers. Danny specializes in highrise residential projects and throughout his nearly 30-year career in the industry has successfully overseen the construction of 25 towers and counting. In the process he has developed robust expertise in managing complex construction projects.
Danny holds a Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Civil Engineering and is a Professional Engineer.
Adrian Kozak, Senior Vice President, Investments
Adrian Kozak joined in 2005 and today serves as Senior Vice President of Investments. Over the years, he has been instrumental in the strategic expansion and management of Concert Properties' income properties portfolio and the acquisition of residential development sites across Ontario.
With nearly 25 years of experience in the real estate industry, Adrian has developed an impressive track record in leading teams through complex processes, including acquisitions and dispositions as well as asset management, leasing and term financing. He has played a pivotal role in driving investment strategies that align with the company’s long-term vision, ensuring that each project maximizes value and contributes to the overall growth of the portfolio.
Prior to joining Concert Properties Adrian held a Senior Associate position for a real estate development advisory firm and an analyst role in a leading global real estate services firm.
Joe Wong, Senior Vice President, Information Systems and Technology
Joe joined Concert Properties in 2021 as the head of the Information Systems and Technology team where he has been a driving force in reshaping the department into a strategic business partner. Joe’s focus is on aligning enterprise technology with the organization’s long-term goals. Under his guidance the team his made significant strides in areas such as cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, IT service management and data analytics that will continue to propel Concert Properties forward in the digital age.
He brings over 25 years of experience in technology and transformational leadership. Before his tenure at Concert Properties, Joe served at the executive level for a BC-based credit union where he honed his skills in managing complex technology initiatives.
Joe’s academic background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Simon Fraser University, complemented by executive leadership training from Harvard Business School.
Ann Tuck, LLB, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary
Ann joined Concert Properties in 2024 as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. She brings legal expertise and a strategic mindset to corporate legal matters, guiding significant transactions, critical litigation and organizational legal and regulatory awareness as well as compliance. Ann also fosters strong stakeholder relationships, is a trusted advisor to boards of directors and ensures adherence to the highest standards of corporate governance and Board operations.
She has more than 20 years’ experience in corporate law and a proven track record in effective corporate governance. Ann has led legal and corporate governance teams at values-based and community focused organizations, holding senior corporate legal positions within the fields of infrastructure, crown and financial institutions. Her experience includes management of transactions ranging from cross-border acquisitions and dispositions, to strategic partnership creation and large-scale corporate financial arrangements.
Ann is called to the Bar in British Columbia, is executive member of the Canadian Corporate Counsel Association and holds a legal degree from UBC.
